Merry Almost Christmas

Look who came to visit! It's Flat Stanley. He came for a visit almost two years ago now, so it was nice to see him again. Thanks Robert!

And thanks to everyone in the family who sent the yummy box of goodies!! They were a big hit. I shared some of the stuff with people at work and they raved! Amy, Grandma's fudge and the pretzel things were the most popular. Although, I didn't take the fudge to work. I just shared it with friends in my room. It's too good to only have one or two pieces, so I kept it close:)

Thanks again! I miss you all and hopefully I'll see you all in February for a bit. I'll keep you posted on that one.

Merry Christmas! I'll be celebrating with friends and making some crock pot Lasagna!!!!! YUM!

A New Blog, A New Focus

We live in consequential times, times which demand thoughtful reflection on serious issues.

From time to time I have inserted some political thought into this blog...which I anticpate continuing on occasion. However, I have considered for some weeks creating a new blog which will focus entirely on matters of politics, the ideas of free people, US History, current events, and more.

Well, the new blog is nearly finished and already has one post! I want to add one more post before unveiling it, but the second post is partially written already so it won't be long.

On Sunday, November 30th, I will post again on this blog, announcing the new blog's name and providing the link.

I will continue to post here as well as the new blog. ExperiencePhillip will remain personal with the intent of keeping the readership relatively small, limited mostly to those people who know me personally. The new blog, however, will hopefully be for a wider audience. To that end, I will ask for your assistance on Sunday when I launch the new blog officially.

Lastly...

...I'd like to thank so many of you who have expressed to me very kind and encouraging words about my writing here. I have enjoyed it immensely and your encouragement has spurred me on to challenge myself even further. I hope you'll join me on the new blog as well...
